Travel info

This voyage is subject solely to cargo availability; specific routes cannot be booked.

There are two bulk carriers available for booking that were built specifically for use on the Great Lakes in Canada and the U.S. The ships therefore primarily sail in North America, occasionally to South America, and rarely to Europe (not on a regular basis!).

Specific itineraries cannot be booked; only travel periods can be booked, which requires a high degree of flexibility. Certain ports of embarkation or disembarkation cannot be specified in advance for booking purposes. We therefore recommend planning a generous timeframe of several weeks for this trip. Preliminary information about possible ports of embarkation and routes can be provided 2–4 weeks before the desired travel period. The duration of stay in the ports of call is usually a few days.

A voyage for adventurous passengers with plenty of time who are interested in international deep-sea voyages and would like to travel on a bulk carrier. The duration of the voyage depends on the route and the customer’s preferences.
